Terms of Service

Last updated: June 16, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and LeBlanc School of Acting Inc. ("LeBlanc," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read them carefully. By using leblancschool.com, the LeBlanc member portal, or enrolling in any class, workshop, or coaching session, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, enrolling a student, booking a session, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Who Can Enroll

A majority of our students are under 13 years of age. A parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older must complete enrollment, provide verifiable consent, and remain the primary account holder for any minor student. By enrolling a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and that you accept these Terms on the student's behalf.

3. Enrollment, Tuition, and Payment

  • Tuition is due in full at the time of enrollment in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless a payment plan is agreed in writing.
  • Spots are confirmed only once payment is successfully processed.
  • Posted pricing, schedules, and instructor assignments are subject to change with at least 14 days' written notice; if a change materially affects a class you have paid for, you may request a pro-rated credit or refund.
  • You are responsible for keeping your billing information current.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Our cancellation policy for term-based classes is as follows:

  • 15 or more days before the term start date: full refund less a 5% administrative fee.
  • 8 to 14 days before the term start date: 50% refund or a 100% credit toward a future term.
  • 0 to 7 days before the term start date, or after the term has begun: no refund. A pro-rated credit toward a future term may be issued at our discretion in cases of documented illness or emergency.

Workshops, intensives, and short-form events follow the cancellation policy disclosed at the point of registration, which prevails over the general policy above where they conflict.

Refund processing: approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Bank-side posting times may add a few additional days.

Cancellation by LeBlanc: if we cancel a class or session for any reason within our control (instructor unavailability we cannot cover, fewer than the minimum enrollments, technical failure on our side), we will issue a full refund or, at your choice, a 100% credit toward a future class.

5. Attendance, Missed Classes, and Switches

  • Attendance is recorded for every session.
  • If a student must miss a class, please submit the Missed Class form at least 2 hours in advance so the instructor can prepare a make-up note.
  • One class switch per term is allowed via the Class Switch form, subject to availability in the destination class.
  • Past class materials are not auto-accessible after a term ends; the member portal preserves attendance history for reference only.

6. Code of Conduct

Students, parents, and guardians agree to:

  • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect at all times.
  • Refrain from disruptive, abusive, harassing, or discriminatory behavior.
  • Not record, screenshot, or distribute class content without our prior written permission.
  • Not impersonate another user or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or class materials.

Violations may result in a warning, suspension, or removal from the program without refund, depending on severity.

7. Intellectual Property

All curricula, written materials, exercises, recordings, and branding remain the intellectual property of LeBlanc School of Acting Inc.. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use them solely for your own training during your active enrollment. Sharing, reselling, republishing, or training any machine learning model on our materials is strictly prohibited.

8. Headshots, Names, and Likeness

If you upload a headshot or submit biographical information, you grant LeBlanc a limited license to display it within the member portal to instructors and authorized staff. Use of headshots, names, or class footage in external marketing requires a separate written consent that you may withdraw at any time. We honour withdrawal requests on all future communications and remove the material from active web pages within 14 days.

9. Online Class Conduct

Classes are delivered via Zoom and our integrated booking system. Students agree to attend on time, dressed appropriately, in a quiet workspace with a working camera and microphone unless the instructor advises otherwise. Parents and guardians of minor students are responsible for supervising the environment and the technology setup.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

We provide our services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the curriculum will result in any particular outcome (including casting, representation, or earnings).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeBlanc School of Acting Inc., its directors, employees, instructors, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total aggregate liability in any matter is limited to the tuition paid by you for the current term. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and via a notice on the website at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia, without regard to conflict of laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

13. Dispute Resolution

We want every concern resolved quickly and fairly. If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at info@leblancschool.com so we can attempt good-faith resolution. We will respond within 14 business days.

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within 60 days, the parties agree to attempt mediation administered by the British Columbia Arbitration and Mediation Institute or another mutually agreed mediator before commencing litigation. The courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that proceeds to litigation, subject to your non-waivable rights under applicable consumer protection law.
