LeBlanc welcomes young performers from age 4 and up. Classes are split into Little Ones (4 to 6), Kids (7 to 9), Tweens (10 to 12) and Teens (13+), each tuned to the focus, vocabulary and material that age group is ready for. If your child sits right on the edge of a bracket, we will match them to the class that feels right.

Every regular weekly class runs live on Zoom so that students from across the globe can train together in real time. We have in-person classes in Vancouver with limited availability. LeBlanc also goes on a global tour, and these tour dates will be announced and offered when we are near your location. The online format keeps tuition accessible and gives every student a clear close-up of the instructor.

Weekly classes run from 75 minutes to 120 minutes depending on the class. That length gives time for warm-up, scene work, instructor feedback and a short cool-down. Private classes and audition coachings are two separate things. Private classes are booked as 5-packs or 8-packs of one-hour sessions with your assigned instructor, usually once a week. Audition coachings are booked in 30, 60, 90 or 120 minute sessions with whichever instructor is available, so it can be arranged at short notice.

Tuition covers the full term of weekly classes, all scenes and sides assigned by the instructor, access to your class Zoom link, and downloadable materials. It does not include private one-on-one coaching, audition coaching blocks, or Workshops, which are booked and charged separately.

Life happens. Submit a Missed Class form on your Portal page, and we will see if an alternative class can be substituted in the same class week. We do not record live classes.

Yes. If the room is not the right fit, contact admin@leblancschool.com to request a permanent switch, and we will personally review the request. Most switches happen within one to two weeks, and there is no penalty for moving during a term.

Groups are formed by age first, then by experience and current performance focus. We keep groups small, depending on age range, so every young actor gets real on-camera time with the instructor each session.

Yes. Students can book private one-on-one coaching with any of our instructors directly from the member portal. Private classes are available as 5-packs and 8-packs of one-hour sessions. Private classes are great for personalized classes, deeper character work, accent study and building confidence.

Every LeBlanc instructor is a working professional actor with active screen and stage credits. Founder Julian LeBlanc still works on set, and the rest of the team teaches between bookings. That means your child is learning from people who walked onto a set or submitted an audition this month, not from a textbook.

Workshops are short-format sessions, often a single day or a few evenings, focused on a specific skill like accent work, audition technique or self-tape craft. 

Camps run during summer breaks over multiple days and blend classes, guest sessions and a final showcase. Workshops are bookable any time a spot opens. Camps run on a fixed calendar.

Yes, and that is the point. Every class is on-camera by design so students learn to act for the lens the way they will on a real set. We coach framing, eye line, and energy for camera. If your child is camera-shy at first, that is normal. Our instructors are trained to ease new students in week by week.

LeBlanc is a school first, not an agency. We do not submit students for roles. What we do is prepare them. Students can book audition coachings in 30, 60, 90, or 120-minute blocks, where an instructor reads opposite them, gives notes and helps them deliver a polished self-tape. Many of our families work with outside agents, and we are happy to coordinate prep around real audition deadlines.

Not directly. We do not run a headshot service and we do not require professional headshots to enroll. Students can upload a simple, well-lit photo of themselves to their member profile. If you do want headshots done, reach out and we can refer you to photographers who specialize in young performers in your region.

For our “Little Ones” or Amethyst classes, we ask that parents are there to help support the instructor as that age range can sometimes wander. With all our older classes, parents are welcome to stay by the side (but are not required) of our younger students, as long as it does not hinder the learning environment for those students.
